Reality Check
A Polished Pitch Doesn't Matter if the Product Won't Work.
75%
of MedTech startups fail before they reach the FDA
You're building a medical device with limited resources, an unproven prototype, and a timeline that investors and subject matter experts will scrutinize...
Other advisors can determine market size and help you polish your pitch, but nobody is:
-
Stress-testing your prototype
-
Evaluating your milestones
-
Confirming your timeline and budget are realistic
Many first-time founders are confident their product will work... Until investors start asking questions.
Don’t burn through your runway trying to fix a fatal flaw that expert eyes could have identified early on.

Hands-On Technical Expertise
I focus on products, not slides. I evaluate the science, if the prototype will succeed, and if your plan will hold up under investor scrutiny.
Business Development Savvy
Technical brilliance means nothing if you can't get it to market. I help founders understand what investors and strategic partners look for.
Early-Stage Focus
I specialize in the most critical phase: the beginning. My approach meets the pre-seed to Series A moment, where every dollar and day count.
MEET JAMIE RYAN
The Technical Expert You Need at the Table.
I spent nearly 15 years in Silicon Valley as an innovation scientist, turning ideas into working diagnostic products. From rapid tests built under pandemic pressure to FDA-cleared and CE-IVD assays for detecting drug-resistant superbugs, I've been hands-on, creating products to succeed and fixing them when they fail.
Since leaving California for Medical Alley, I've evaluated over 100 medical devices as a due diligence expert and pitch judge. And I see the same thing over and over: brilliant founders making avoidable mistakes because nobody with hands-on product development experience is looking around corners for them. That's what I do now.
